Upstairs - The Entrance Level

.
The grand vaulted ceiling and open floor plan give the Viking House a bright and spacious feeling. Knotty pine walls embrace you as you cook, dine and relax with friends and family.

Whether you eat inside or out, dining is a feast for the senses. The river-side deck is a great place to fire up the BBQ and grill some fresh seafood.
If the sea breezes are too strong, head to the more sheltered deck on the east side of the house.
Our well equipped kitchen has all the tools you need to cook up some local fresh seafood dishes, or bring some of your favorites with you.
In the evenings, cozy up by the fire and
lose yourself in a book or a movie.
Upstairs guests can pull out the queen size convertible sofa.
This quaint bathroom features original porcelain fixtures, including a rare claw foot tub to soak away the aches and pains of the daily grind, or rinse away some pacific coast sand from your beach excursion.

Downstairs

The master bedroom features a queen size pillowtop mattress set with luxurious linens and bedding. There's plenty of closet space and privacy too.
The recently renovated downstairs bathroom is all set to go with a step-in shower stall and plenty of lighting.
Spiral down from upstairs to this additional seating area. Under the stairs, you'll find a generous library of books to borrow during your stay, in case you forgot your own.

Access the lower deck here or use the exterior stairs. Additional guests can sleep on this queen futon and will find all the comforts of home with a pellet stove, TV/DVD and their own wardrobe space.
The more private lower deck has intimate seating for two, but with the same majestic views as the larger upper deck. From here you can take stairs up to the front deck, or take the other stairs down to the river.
A few steps down and you'll be right on the water. Just up the road you can rent kayaks and canoes, or bring a small boat that can easily be pulled onto the shore.
